Villa Esche
Villa Esche is a villa located in the Helbersdorf locality of Chemnitz in Saxony, Germany. It is a Kulturdenkmal designed and built by the Belgian architect and designer Henry van de Velde in 1902/1903. The house was created for the textile entrepreneur Herbert Esche and his family. While the inception of the project was in 1902, the building was later extended in 1911. I always find the clean lines of the building quite striking when I am gliding over the neighborhood from the air.
