Vinoy Park
The Vinoy Park Hotel was originally called the Vinoy Park when constructed in 1925, and the nearby Vinoy Park was named after it. Located on the downtown waterfront of St. Petersburg, Florida, this park covers 11.6 acres. It is operated by the city's Parks and Recreation group. I've always found the waterfront breeze here to be a great way to cool off while you take in the view. It is a wonderful spot to stretch your legs before you head back into the busier parts of the downtown area.
