Kaseya Center
Arquitectonica is the architect behind the Kaseya Center. This multi-purpose arena sits on Biscayne Bay in Miami, Florida, and first opened in 1999. While it is now known as Kaseya Center, the building has gone through several names. It was called American Airlines Arena from 1999 until 2021, followed by FTX Arena from 2021 until 2023. There was also an interim period in 2023 when it was named Miami-Dade Arena. Since April 2023, the naming rights have been owned by Kaseya under a 17-year, $117.4 million agreement. Today, the arena is most famous as the home of the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association. I've noticed the breeze from the bay is quite refreshing when you're heading toward the entrance.
