Rendezvous Park
You might expect a quiet green space, but this park has a loud history. Rendezvous Park is a park in Mesa, Arizona, that was also a baseball stadium. It had its inception in 1920. For years, the grounds hosted Major League Baseball teams preparing for the season. The Chicago Cubs used the stadium for spring training from 1952 to 1965, and the Oakland Athletics followed from 1969 to 1976. It is a great spot to stretch your legs, and I find the open air here quite refreshing.
