Saint Mary Catholic Church
This site is not a museum or a monument to the past. It is Saint Mary Catholic Church, a Catholic church building located in an eastern neighborhood of Dayton, Ohio. The church was started in 1906 and is designed in Romanesque Revival architecture style. Because of its architectural and historical value, it is a National Register of Historic Places listed place. However, the building is much more than a landmark for visitors to admire from the sidewalk. It remains home to an active parish, maintaining its original purpose as a place of worship and community gathering for the people of the area. You can see the influence of the Romanesque Revival style in the structure's design, which has stood in this neighborhood since the early twentieth century.
