Albertsons Stadium
Albertsons Stadium is an outdoor athletic stadium located on the campus of Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. For its first 44 seasons, the venue was known as Bronco Stadium. It serves as the home of the Boise State Broncos of the Pac-12 Conference. In May 2014, the stadium was renamed. The new name comes from Albertsons, a chain of grocery stores founded by Boise area resident Joe Albertson. I've noticed the energy here is always high when the Broncos are in town for a game. Whether you are a sports fan or just visiting the university, it is a prominent fixture of the local campus geography. It is one of those spots where you can really feel the pride the city has for its university teams.
