Cathédrale Saint-Étienne
The height of Cathédrale Saint-Étienne is 88 meters. This Catholic cathedral is a classified historical monument built in classic gothic and Gothic Revival styles. While the inception of the site was in 1240, the present cathedral building was begun in the early 14th century. As you look closer at the structure, you can notice the late Gothic chevet, which was finished between 1486 and 1520. It is the seat of the bishops of Metz and is dedicated to Saint Stephen.
