Ullevi
You might expect just a football pitch, but Ullevi is a multi-purpose stadium designed by architects Fritz Jaenecke and Sten Samuelson. It is a major sporting hub in Gothenburg that was built for the 1958 FIFA World Cup. Beyond football, the stadium has hosted the World Allround Speed Skating Championships six times. It also served as the site for the 2006 European Athletics Championships. I've seen plenty of crowds gather here, and the energy is always a buzz. It is a place where the city comes together for the biggest events in the region.
