Oulun tuomiokirkko
Carl Ludvig Engel and the National Board of Public Building are the architects of Oulu Cathedral. This Neoclassical Lutheran cathedral is located in the center of Oulu, Finland, and is a church-protected building. It is the seat of the Diocese of Oulu. The building's inception was in 1777, and the church was built in 1777 as a tribute to the king of Sweden Gustav III. It was named after Sofia Magdalena, the wife of Gustav III.
