Catedral Metropolitana Basílica Menor de San Lorenzo
The Catedral Metropolitana Basílica Menor de San Lorenzo is a Catholic cathedral and a minor basilica. It is a national monument of Bolivia and the main Catholic church in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Located in the city center, the building sits opposite the 24 de Septiembre Square. The inception of the cathedral was in 1845, and the architect of the project was Felipe Bertrés. The overall style of the structure is eclecticism in art. It is a central point of the city's religious and civic identity.
