Stadio Angelo Massimino
Architect Raffaele Leone built this multi-use stadium in 1935. It is an association football venue in Catania, Italy, and is used mostly for football matches. The stadium is the home of Calcio Catania and has a capacity of 23,266 people. In 2002, the venue was renamed after Angelo Massimino, a former Catania chairman who lived from 1927 to 1996. I have seen plenty of exciting matches here from the rafters, and the energy of the crowd is always something to notice when you visit this part of the city.
