Dubrovačke gradske zidine
Surrounding the city of Dubrovnik in southern Croatia, the Dubrovačke gradske zidine are a series of defensive stone walls. This instance of a defensive wall is Cultural Heritage in Croatia. You can see that the existing city walls were constructed mainly during the 13th–17th centuries. In the outlying areas of the city, including the mountain slopes, ramparts were built as part of a set of statues from 1272. I've found the views from the top are quite a treat, especially when you are looking down at the streets below.
