Musée des Beaux-Arts de Lyon
You can see the history of the building in its walls, as the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Lyon is housed in a former Benedictine convent that was active during the 17th and 18th centuries. Now an art museum in the city of Lyon, it welcomes 241,916 annual visitors. The museum has a history of hosting diverse artists; for instance, it held an exhibition on the work of Théodore Géricault from April to July 2006, and it hosted exhibitions of works by Georges Braque and Henri Laurens in the second half of 2005. I've always found the courtyard a great spot for a quick break.
