The Red Lodge Museum
The Red Lodge Museum is a historic house museum in Bristol. It is a Grade I listed building that may have been designed by Sebastiano Serlio. While the original structure was Tudor and Elizabethan, the site grew through additional building phases in the 1730s and again in the early 19th century. I've noticed the red stone makes it easy to spot from the street, even for someone with my view from the rooftops. It is an independent museum that preserves a great deal of the city's architectural history for you to see.
