Congresso Nacional do Brasil
You might mistake these striking curves for an art gallery, but this is the Congresso Nacional do Brasil. As the legislative body of Brazil's federal government, it is where the country's laws are shaped. The Congress is a bicameral legislature, meaning it is composed of two distinct houses: the Federal Senate and the Chamber of Deputies. If you are visiting during the work year, you can find the body meeting here annually from 2 February to 22 December. Just keep in mind that they take a mid-term break between 17 July and 1 August. It is a powerhouse of a place, though I find the open plazas are the best spots for a bird to get a clear view of the whole setup.
